performances last year included:-

Sunday 21st November: The Sarah Smith Trio

SARA SMITH TRIO
With their passionate version of gypsy jazz & ever so tight rythms, they transported their Brecon Jazz 2010 performance to us. And hugely impressed every single one in the audience. They'll be coming back.

Sunday 17th October: The Milestones Quintet

MILESTONES QUINTET
A fine set from five talented musicians, all playing in praise of one of the very greatest of 20th Century jazzists. That didn't stop them demonstrating superb improvisation which though free never failed to return to the focus of the day. They'll be back next autumn, by popular request!

Sunday 19th September: Claudia's Jazz Masters

CLAUDIA'S JAZZ MASTERS
The Ice Diva returned, with her fabulous band of musicians and her collection of classic 'Lady Sings The Blues' repertoire. This was our contribution to Tenby Arts Festival, so we made it with a quality concert & quality food. And it was a sellout.

Sunday 18th July: Cafe Jazz

CAFE JAZZ
Cafe Jazz played in their Dixieland style, featuring a tight line up of banjo, bass, trumpet, clarinet and trombone. Solid jazz music, in a traditional (not trad) manner. Good Sunday music!

Sunday 27th June: The Amigos

THE AMIGOS
A welcome return for the finest of West Wales' gypsy jazz performers. Gary, Andy & Andy, with their eclectic mix of global ethnic influences. To be there is to live ... well, with the very best of Reinhardt / Grapelli style music. And we were 'entertained' by Gary's best fishy double entendres, let us hope that is not repeated! Chris' fault, he put Gary up to it. Fish Week indeed!

Sunday 23rd May: Wayne Warlow's Wall of Sound

WAYNE WARLOW
Another welcome return, ths time to Wayne Warlow and his band of jazz experience. A sparse crowd who, nonetheless, enjoyed the responsive, flexible repartee of the band.

Sunday 25th April: The Tommy Harris Quartet

TOMMY HARRIS QUARTET
In recent years, Tommy has played with Cafe Jazz and Groucho Club, but years back he supported a number of live acts, including The Four Tops, Tom Jones & Englebert Humperdink. He is, however, a class jazz act.
Tommy's band included, on keyboard, Dave Jones who has worked with many British and visiting American Jazz stars, on bass, Frank Hughes who has been on the jazz scene in Wales for many years and is also first choice for many Great jazz players and, on drums, Martin Webber who is one of the best drummers in Great Britain and works all over the country with many Jazz Greats.
A crisp, clean gig with a devoted audience seeing it right to the end.

Sunday 21st March: The Dominic Norcross Quartet

The boy just gets better. Superbly accompanied by his quality group of musicians, Dom gave us a fluid, mellow run though some of the classics. And we just lapped it up. Superb.

Sunday 21st February: The Tone Valley Jazz Band
Sometimes things just click, & although this performance wasn't full it was memorable for its ambience, the appreciation of the audience & the light-hearted yet professional delivery from the band. Chalk this one to the very best of our long running series. Even the band went wow, what was that? From Tudor's own mouth: "Really enjoyed last Sunday. I think the boys were on form". High praise indeed.

Sunday 24th January: Li Harding with The Gary Phillips Trio

What a show! Li's exuberance frightened two away but kept the rest totally tuned in for the entire session. Razzamasass. And Gary's trio kept it close & tight to the core. Great gig. Should have been there!

Sunday 29th November: Claudia's Jazz Masters

A great chilled out session of timeless classics from the Icelandic Diva & her collection of masterful musicians
